Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on August 8th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. Her parents who were dental surgeons and teacher recognized and backed her passion for acting and theatre since her early years, which overcame her initial ambition to become a primatologist due to her fascination with monkeys. Her rise to stardom as a young actress was quick and accompanied by early success. After completing her education, she was able to be a part of Jeunes Premiers which is which is a French television talent-scouting program that was sponsored by Canal+. She also took home the Most Popular Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors. That led her embark on a professional acting career. Tautou was educated at the Institut Catholique de Paris, in addition to attending church as an infant. She has since moved away from her religious background. She has stated that she is not necessarily Catholic. Alongside her acting career, Tautou pursued modelling and was the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel.
