Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently Onesti] Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to be awarded a perfect score of 10 during the Olympic competition. Comaneci was discovered by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics coach at the time she was six years old. Her first competitive event was The National Junior Championships in where she placed 13th in 1969. In 1970, Comaneci took home the title. In her very first international event in 1972 she won the event with three gold medals. Her first senior competition in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion who won four gold medals and one silver. She took home the American Cup in New York City in 1976 and became the first female to do a backward double salto as an unmounting from uneven parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Carol Wayne's journey to the world of entertainment started when she was a teenager. Along with her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her journey into the entertainment business as a teenager. In her early years she was a figure skater in traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
